FAQ.

Does it hurt?

The microsensor is under 1 mm long and sits superficially in the skin, far shallower than a needle used for a blood draw. In testing so far, most people report a light press when the module clicks in and little or nothing after that.

How accurate is it?

Clinical-level accuracy: every molecule is tested on-body against its established reference method, a capillary lactate meter for lactate and a CGM for glucose. Independent blood-reference validation with Liverpool John Moores University is underway and published before launch.

Is Performr a medical device?

No. Performr launches as a wellness and performance device, manufactured under an ISO 13485 quality system. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and it isn’t a substitute for medical advice.

Where does my data live?

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest and is yours. You can export it or delete it at any time.

How long does the battery last?

The band is rechargeable and lasts about a week between charges.

How much does it cost?

From $35 a month at launch: eight sensor modules a month, delivered to your door, each lasting up to two weeks. Every friend who joins the waitlist through your link takes a month off that, with no cap. Band pricing is announced to the waitlist first.

When does it launch, and where?

End of 2027, shipping in waitlist order, US first. Your position is set when you join and moves up as friends join through your link.

How does the referral work?

When you join you get a personal link. Every friend who joins through it with a verified email moves you up the list and earns you one month free at launch. There’s no cap: twelve friends is a year free.
